Anna DU

Anna DU, is a Senior Program Officer of Health, Innovation & Partnerships (HIP) at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in China, responsible for the Foundation’s vaccine development and immunization programs in China. Her work covers a wide range of areas in vaccine and immunization, including strategic planning, innovation and development, manufacturing quality, international certification, delivery of scientific research, advocacy and communication, and vaccine education and training, leveraging her extensive contacts and collaborations with the vaccine community at home and abroad. Anna DU has over 20 years of experience in biopharmaceuticals and vaccines. Prior to joining the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, she worked in R&D at Sanofi Pasteur for more than 10 years, and accrued extensive experience in vaccine development, R&D strategic planning, R&D collaboration and project management. Dr DU received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Beijing Medical University, followed by a Master’s degree and PhD in Virology from Peking University.
