1735872795293575.jpgThe Council for the Promotion of International Vaccine Cooperation (CPIVC) of China Association for Vaccines (CAV), as a branch of China Association for Vaccines (CAV), its members include experts and scholars, enterprises, institutions and social agencies from the fields of vaccine research and development (R&D), vaccine production quality control, vaccine related regulation, disease prevention and control, public health, and immunization program management and clinical medicine.

As more vaccines manufactured in China are introduced internationally, it is important for enterprises to have a timely understanding of R&D progress, international regulatory trends & market demand. This will help Chinese companies to formulate their R&D strategy, capacity planning, and strategic marketing plans, and to help synergize their independent and collaborative activities to improve their capacity for innovative research. 

With the vision and mission of leading the development of the global vaccine industry and contributing to global health, CPIVC CAV is committed to building a comprehensive global service platform for academic exchange and industry cooperation in the vaccine sector, aiming to: 

promote the development of the vaccine industry and related biological products globally, 

enhance scientific and technological innovation, 

strengthen international cooperation, and  

safeguard global health.

Core business of CPIVC CAV :

1. provide international exchange and cooperation services,

2. conduct global market analysis and provide research reports,

3. provide industry analysis reports and consulting services,

4. hold conferences and events, and

5. provide training and coaching.

Through organizing activities and conducting policy advocacy, CPIVC CAV builds information sharing platforms for the domestic and global vaccine industry and makes full use of resources to promote international cooperation. CPIVC CAV also promotes the implementation of industry-relevant policies and regulations via strengthening communication and coordination with the government. CPIVC CAV serves to support and safeguard the Healthy China 2030 strategy and build a friendly international ecosystem for the vaccine industry development.

Members of CPIVC CAV include universities, research institutes, national and provincial CDCs, relevant health administration agencies, drug regulatory agencies, vaccine and biological products manufacturers and suppliers, and international organizations. CPIVC CAV works closely with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and PATH in strengthening international exchange and cooperation for the development of vaccine innovation and technologies.

CPIVC CAV operates on a committee system, which consists of the chairman, vice-chairmen, standing members, secretary general, and members. Currently, there are approximately 67 members in CPIVC CAV. It has full-time coordinators and project managers responsible for daily operation.
